FEATURES of the Vela 1 Tent by Exped Large vestibule, easily accessed from inside Vela I, is large enough for all your gear. The door is easily raised to offer a view but still protects from the elements Large floor plan is especially long and wide, making it possible to bring gear inside or to help out a stranded, second person. Ventilation is maximized in this storm proof design. The rainfly can be rolled up from either end, and both ends of the canopy have mesh windows. A hood protected vent enhances the chimney effect for venting. The foot end is aerodynamically shaped and can be completely tied down to face high winds. The head end features a mesh window. Tie down loops attach directly to the pole sleeves for maximum stability in wind. Ingenious, flat pole sleeve improves aerodynamics in wind and rain.
